Welch eine Enttäuschung – wir machten einen Ausflug und liefen ziellos umher und kamen vorbei an einem- keine Ahnung, was es war, aber es sah aus wie ein Restaurant. Und falls es ein Restaurant war, war es zweifellos ein Restaurant für Katzen, denn auf der Speisekarte stand geschrieben: Feldmäuse. Zwar waren Feldmäuse das einzige auf der Karte, aber es gibt Schlimmeres – ein Stachelschwein, zum Beispiel.
Also setzten wir uns und warteten. Ja, wir warteten ungefähr 17 Stunden. Ungefähr, denn ich habe keine Ahnung, wie lang eine Stunde überhaupt ist. Aber das Warten fühlte sich länger an als ein als der Reißzahn einer Löwin. Und letztlich zogen wir ohne eine Feldmaus davon; die Bedienung kam einfach nicht.

What a letdown - we were taking a trip and wandering around aimlessly and passed a- no idea what it was but it looked like a restaurant. And if it was a restaurant, it was undoubtedly a cat restaurant, because the menu said "field mice". While field mice were the only thing on the menu card, there are worse things - a porcupine, for example.
So we sat and waited. Yes, we waited about 17 hours. At least i think so, because I have no idea how long an hour actually is. But waiting felt longer than a lion's fang. And in the end we went away without a field mouse; the waiter just didn't come.
