Als ich da im Baum hockte und in die Ferne sah, da traute ich meinen Augen nicht. Konnte es sein? Plötzlich stand da Niara am Rande des Feldes. Aber sagte sie nicht, ihr ginge es nicht gut?

🐆 Natürlich, freue ich mich. Nur dachte ich, du hättest schlimmes Bauchweh und-
😽 Und hab’s noch immer, doch wollt‘ ich dich nicht allein lassen.
🐆 Und ich wollt‘ nicht, dass du solch lange Wege trotz Schmerzen auf dich nimmst für mich.
😽 Für wen sollt‘ ich sie sonst auf mich nehmen? Und seh ich dich, ist’s fast nicht mehr schlimm. Außerdem habe ich mich herfahren lassen - in diesem Tier mit den runden Hufen ging’s ganz schnell.

Und so kam’s, dass wir zu Zweien dort oben auf dem Felde hockten – meine Niara und ich.

😽 For whom I should take them for, if not for you? And when I see you, it's almost not that bad. I also let myself be driven here - it was a very quick trip in this animal with the round hooves.
