Die beiden hatten sich neulich so sehr über ein gemaltes Eisbärenbild in ihrer Story gefreut – da dachte ich mir, es sei eine gute Idee, selbst für die Zwei ein Bild zu malen.😺 O, das ist wirklich eine gute Idee.🐆 Und wie findest du es?😺 Total cool, Dad. Aber der Bär ist ein wenig – wie drücke ich es höflich aus? – rund geraten.🐆 Nein, das muss so sein! Allerdings weiß ich leider auch nicht, welcher Strich den Bären so rund erscheinen lässt. Ich hoffe, Placido trägt es mir nicht nach.😺 Ach was, Dad. Hallo, ihr Lieben, vorhin kamen die Kinder herbei und meinten, ich müsse mal wieder etwas malen, und weil sie es sich so in den Kopf gesetzt hatten, sollte ich unbedingt irgendwas mit »Pink« machen. Freilich kann man darüber streiten, ob »Pink« überhaupt eine zugelassene Farbe ist, aber davon wollten die Kleinen nichts hören; die wollten etwas Pinkfarbenes auf dem Bild sehen. The weather is gray and wet - hard to say wether it is already light or dawning. What else can you do but take a pen or brush and paint? So I thought it was time for a redraw again. How about Niara with last year's flower wreath? Incidentally, that fits in great with @tas.illustrations's #tas800follows challenge.At that time (last year) I desperately colored with the treacherous colors of a kid's paint box to get some practice; this time I wanted to use the way better watercolors. This time it should also be more contrasting and also appear more experienced. Well, when it comes to the experienced look, it was probably not a success - I have no idea what it is; at the moment the brush strokes slip away as if they were eels in the water. There are some nice spots in the drawing, but there are some that I don't like.Well, it is, what it is - keep practicing instead of complaining.🇩🇪Das Wetter ist so grau und nass, dass ein Blick hinaus nicht klar sagen lässt, ob es schon hell wurde oder bereits der Abend dämmert. Was kann man da anderes tun, als Stift und Pinsel zu nehmen und zu malen?Ich dachte, es sei mal wieder Zeit für ein Redrawing. Wie wäre es mit Niara mit dem Blumenkranz aus dem letzten Jahr? Das passt, ganz nebenbei, auch großartig zu @tas.illustrations s #tas800follows-Challenge.Damals noch krampfhaft mit den tückischen Farben eines Malkastens koloriert, wollte ich dieses Mal die Aquarellfarben nehmen. Dieses Mal sollte es auch kontrastreicher sein und auch geübter erscheinen. Nun, was das Geübertererscheinen angeht, war’s wohl kein Erfolg – keine Ahnung, woran es liegt; momentan entgleiten mir die Striche, als wären es Aale im Wasser. Herbstzeit ist Kürbiszeit. Überall ist der Kürbis gegenwärtig – in Gärten, in den Nachrichten, in Suppen, in Gruselgeschichten. Und auch in Bildern, zumindest in meinem. Gut, ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass ich es nicht an so vielen Stellen verka... versemmelt hätte, allein schon für Mneka, die so artig und so lange Modell stand. Irgendwie wollte es dieses Mal nichts werden, aber ohne richtigen Daumen ist das Halten von Stift und Pinsel nicht leicht. Versucht es selbst, wenn ihr mir nicht glaubt. Jedenfalls ist hier meine Verehrung für den Kürbis.🇬🇧Autumn time is pumpkin time. The pumpkin is everywhere - in gardens, on the news, in soups, in horror stories. Yesterday, as I mentioned, I was planning to have some time just for me and myself. And yesterday I also mentioned how fragile plans are when you have to find some minutes of spare time between childcare and nursing my ailing Niara.In the end I succeeded! But lemme explain.On the occasion of an unbelievable number of 1,800 followers, @tas.illustrations started a #DTIYS challenge. If you don't know what a #DTIYS Challenge is - well, that's not difficult to understand: everything starts with a drawing. In order to get a challenge started, someone draws a picture of a subject of their choice and in the way they like it - after the drawing was done, they're asking for participation. Everyone who takes part in the challenge draws the given motif in their own way, with pens and colors and materials and in the style they like. It is not important whether someone is particularly good at drawing; the only important thing is having fun, but with the goal of having as many drawings as possible, that can be marveled at the end of the challenge - although they all show the same subject, they're very different, just as different as those who created it.Super exciting.And because @tas.illustrations drew a wonderful leopardess draped with some fine jewelry (you can see the original in the second slide), I thought it would be a good opportunity to use the watercolors again - after all, the last watercolored drawing is two months old now. And without practice, noone will get better after all. So, I tried really hard to adapt the origin drawing and that's how it came out.Thanks for hosting, thanks for the great drawing, @tas.illustrations. It was great fun. Heute war mal wieder einer dieser grauen Tage, an denen sich die Wolken nicht entscheiden wollten, ob es regnete oder nicht. Was blieb uns da, als den Tag zu Hause zu verbringen und dort nach Kurzweil zu suchen? Und Kurzweil war schnell gefunden – weil ich doch jetzt die neuen Aquarellfarben benutzen darf, da bat sich Niara als Modell an. Als Aktmodell! Ja, ihr hört richtig, denn Niara trug nichts am Leib als ihre Kette. 😏 Aber darum soll es nicht gehen, denn ich sollte bloß ein Portrait von ihr anfertigen. Und das Wesen eines Portraits ist es nun einmal, alles Lüsterne kopfabwärts wegzulassen.Wenn ihr darüber ebenso enttäuscht seid wie ich, dann schreibt der Schönen und bekniet sie, auf dass sie beim nächsten Mal Modelstehen mehr von sich preisgibt. 🥰Und weil Swede anfügte, dass man in einer so bunten Welt so viel mehr malen könnte, als immer nur Geparde, da entschloss ich mich, nach Niaras Portrait etwas gaaanz anderes zu malen: Einen Leoparden! Da staunt ihr, nicht wahr? 😁🇬🇧 Today was one of those gray days when the clouds didn't want to decide whether it was raining or not. What should we do but spending the day at home and look for amusement there? And amusement was quickly found: because I'm allowed to use the new watercolors, Niara asked as a model. As a nude model! Yes, you got it right, because Niara wore nothing but her chain. 😏 But that's not the point, since I should just make a portrait of her. And the essence of a portrait is simply to leave out everything lustful head down.If you are just as disappointed as I am, then write to the beautiful queen and beg for the next time as a model she will reveal more about herself. 🥰And because Swede mentioned that in such a colorful world there could be painted way more than just cheetahs, I decided to work on something entiiiirely different after i finished Niaras portrait: a leopard! Heute ist hier Feiertag – so steht es zumindest auf dem Kalenderblatt. Aber wirklich gefeiert wird hier nicht, meine Menschen verweigern lediglich die Arbeit und behaupten, sie müssten heute nichts tun. Das heißt also, sie blockieren die Couch, die ich eigentlich für Niara und mich ausersah.Dass sie den ganzen Tag zu Hause sind, ist jedoch nicht nur schlecht, denn so durfte ich ausnahmsweise die guten Aquarellfarben ausprobieren und die guten Pinsel und das gute Papier. Und das tat ich – ich malte Geparde. Seht ihr’s? Zunächst musste ich mich mit der Farbgewalt der verschiedenen Farben vertrautmachen und lernen, wie das Papier die Farbe aufnimmt, aber so nach und nach wurde es besser.Die Ergebisse seht ihr in den Bildern.🇬🇧 Today is a holiday - at least that's what the calendar sheet says. But there is no real celebration here, my humans just refuse to work and claim that they don't have to do anything today.
