Hello my dears. Did you see the great valentine's day competition #teddylovestory from @lovedbefore_london? The guys from the HQ got the great idea to ask those we call humans or humies or hyoomans, which plushie they like most and why it is so. Reading the humans' stories I learned the most exciting and touching things, and that's why I thought it would be nice if I shared some secrets too.
You're probably wondering why I am telling you the teddy love story and not my human. But today it's not about me. Although my humie created this account for me and doesn't let a day pass without playing with me and shooting photographs and dragging me somewhere, anyhow there is one plushie that he might love even more.
You have already met her - I'm talking about Tia, the leopardess.
Nobody knows how old she actually is. My human told me once he found her many years ago in a grocery store near the checkout, where you'd normally find sweets and remaining stock. He also said, back then even the money was different than it is today. So it must have been around 25 years ago. Anyways, nobody knew why a lonely plush toy was sold there, and though my human just wanted to by some food, he took Tia home as well.
Nooo, not for eating.
Since then, Tia has always been with him. Either she lies in bed with him, although there is hardly any space anymore, or she sits in the living room or she accompanies him on his travels. In fact, she's been on pretty much every trip. She has been to the Baltic Sea ten times, three times more in the Spreewald, and she has also been to Gelderland. Everywhere. She even has her own travel bag.
But traveling in bags isn't as convenient as it sounds. Sitting in a bag for six hours is exhausting, and only necessary because there are still people out there who find it strange that other people take their plushies with them on trips. But Tia takes it for him, is always there when she is needed, in good and bad days. Always.
I think, it was love at first sight.
