Sonntag Morgen - anstatt Ruhe und Besinnlichkeit einkehren zu lassen, veranstalteten die Kinder einen ausgemachten Radau, mit Gebrüll und Gequietsche, mit Jauchzen und Gejammer, von einem Bett zum anderen, hoch und wieder herunter, drunter und drüber, und immer dabei war Ajabu. Ihr könnt euch das Gepolter vorstellen. So früh am Tage war das zu viel für Niara. Die beschloss, dass Mneka und Swede bis zum Mittag ganz und ausschließlich meine Kinder wären. Und damit kein Zweifel daran bestand, ging sie mit Mara spazieren.
Weg waren die zwei.
Nach einer Weile des Herumstreunens langten sie an einem Blumenbeet an, mit Tulpen darin und Hyazinthen. Und während sich eine Traube von Zweibeinern bildete, schnupperten zwei mit Geschmeide behangene Raubkatzen an Blumen, als wäre nichts Ungewöhnliches daran.
Ist es so ungewöhnlich?

After wandering around for a while, they came to a flowerbed with tulips and hyacinths in it. And while a cluster of bipeds was forming, two big cats draped in jewelry sniffed flowers as if there were nothing unusual about them.
