So! Alle Bauteile wurden ersetzt, und nun ging es an das Zusammenbauen. Aber denkt nicht, dass es leicht war; da hingen zwanzig Stecker, und keiner war beschriftet, Vorher-Pfotos gab es auch keine – große Klasse; so arbeiten nur Profis. Zu allem Überfluss bekam weder Papa noch Jabu seine Pfoten in die engen Aussparungen, sodass ich, die Kleinste, mich in die Gefahrenzone begeben musste, um die Stecker wieder anzustecken. Nach zehn ängstlichen Minuten waren alle Kabel irgendwo dran – nun fehlte nur noch Spannung.
Also krochen wir vom Trockner, suchten uns einen isolierten Platz und warteten darauf, dass irgendwer käme, den Stecker einzustecken und an dem großen Knopf zu drehen. Und nun kam jemand, steckte den Stecker ein, drehte den Knopf, und siehe da, das Ding funktionierte wieder.
Zur Belohnung gab es... nun, es gab leider nichts. Aber ich glaube, mit dem Leben davongekommen zu sein, ist Lohn genug. Deshalb: Macht das nicht zu Hause nach, wenn euer Trockner noch funktioniert.

Finally, all components were replaced, and now it was time to assemble. But it wasn’t that easy because there were twenty of 🤭 plugs hanging there, none labeled, no before-pics either - brillant; only professionals work like this. To make matters worse, neither Paps nor Jabu could get his paws into the narrow recesses, that’s why me, the little one, had to get into the danger zone to reconnect the plugs. After ten anxious minutes, all the cables were connected somewhere – done, only voltage was missing.
We crawled off the dryer, found an isolated spot, and waited for someone to come and plug in and turn the big knob. And someone came, plugged in, turned the knob and, lo and behold, the machine worked like a charm.
As a reward... well, unfortunately there was nothing like a reward. But I think getting away life is enough of a reward. Therefore: Don’t try this at home if your dryer is still working.
