Neulich erzählte ich von der vergänglichen Schönheit des Herbstes und kaum zwei Wochen später ist von dem einstigen Farbenspiel nicht viel mehr übrig als grauer Ernst – kalt, nass, nebelig. Gewiss, da lagen herabgefallene Blätter, aber von ganzen Haufen konnte die Rede nicht sein.
