It's my human's birthday today - may I say that in public? It doesn't matter. Bei der großen Mutter, Erbauerin der Welten, Begründerin allen Lebens – welch Geschicken verdanken wir solch großes Lebensglück? O möge das Leben auf ewig so sein. Denn wir wurden zum Geburtstag eingeladen. Wir alle: Niara, Swede, Mneka und ich.Wenn Menschen Geburtstag feiern, dann bedeutet das jede Menge Kuchen und Kaffee und berauschende Getränke und Fleisch vom offenen Feuer. Aber wenn es ein Menschenkindergeburtstag ist, dann bedeutet es auch – Swede und Mneka konnten ihren Augen kaum trauen – eine verdammt große Hüpfburg. Ich schwöre es bei den Schnurrhaaren meiner Mama, da wurde eine riesige Hüpfburg aufgebaut. Sie überragte uns um das 50-fache.Unglücklicherweise waren wir zu leicht. Wir konnten hüpfen und hüpfen und hüpfen, aber die Luftkissen wollten einfach nicht nachgeben. Some wanted a piece of meat, others suggested a grindstone for the claws, some thought of a tail warmer for the Scottish winters. In the end we thought that it would be best if everyone gave something of themselves. So all the spotted breed came together and gave one of their spots - Dusk, Niara, Mneka, Zoul, Tia, Mia, Pumuzi, Dagger, Otis, Neela, Aleeke, Jara and me. Swede even gave a starfish from her chain.
