Ich weiß, ich habe dieses Bild schon auf meinem anderen Account gepostet, aber ich finde keines, das besser zum Valentinstag passt. Drum geht das raus an alle Tollköpfe, an alle Verliebten, an alle Lüsternen und Romantiger. Habt euch lieb!

Zwischen dem Herbsttreiben muss auch Zeit für die Kunst bleiben. Zum Zwecke der Künstlerei nahm ich Pinsel und Farben und etwas Wasser, und dann malte ich. Das Motiv war schnell gefunden: Anstatt stets nur Prominenz bekannter Animationsfilme abzubilden, sollten dieses Mal »Jua vom Dornenhain, Tochter der Mzaa« und »Pumuzi vom roten Gabelbaum, Sohn der Koo« im bildlichen Mittelpunkt stehen, ebenjene zwei Fleckentiere, die den meisten Platz im Roman »@Gephleckt« einnehmen.Da die beiden Ferals sind, sollten sie auch authentisch in der Savanne hocken, umgeben von nichts als Gras und den drei Steinen auf Pumuzis Anhöhe, was auch immer eine Anhöhe in der Ebene der Savanne bedeuten mag. Und da sind sie nun.🇬🇧There has to be time for some art between the colourful autumn madness. For the sake of art, I took a brushes and paints and some water, and then I painted. The subject of the drawing was found quickly: instead of depicting celebrities from well-known animated movies, this time the focus should be on »Jua of the Thorn Grove, Daughter of Mzaa« and »Pumuzi of the Red Forked Tree, Son of the Koo«, the very two spotted animals that take up most of the space in the novel »@Gephleckt«.Since the two are ferals, they should be sitting authentically in the savannah, surrounded by nothing but grass and the three stones on Pumuzi’s hill, whatever a hill in the great plains means. Due to the #InternationalCheetahDay let's have some #cheetah facts. Many of you know #cheetahs from documentaries, know about light speed and their habitats and behaviour and vast beauty. So I tried to pick out a few facts that you might not already know. These and way more about cheetahs you can find in this incredible book "Cheetahs: Biology and Conservation". So here away go with the facts #1 to #5:1⃣ Did you know that cheetahs can move their claws, though it's said cheetahs can't and their claws would always stick out? Actually, they can retract their claws, but the sheaths have receded so far that they are never appearing completely hidden.However, the often quoted term "retractable claws" isn't correct at all. The claws are automatically held back by an elastic band, so the claws have to be stretched out. More precisely, they should be called "extendable claws".2⃣ Did you know that the black spots in the cheetah's fur coat appear slightly raised respectively the dark fur seems little longer due to an optical effect?3⃣ Did you know that despite their comparatively small skull, cheetahs have a similar brain volume to other cats? So the cheetah's head is another example of pure efficiency.4⃣ Did you know that 95% of all female cheetahs could be found in the wild are either pregnant or raise cubs at the time of their sighting? Only a few are independent, probably waiting for a male to come.5⃣ Everyone knows that cheetahs are the fastest land creatures. But did you know that cheetahs lose so much energy on a hunt that four or five failed attempts might cause them starve? Dezember kein Feiertag im festlichen Sinn, eher ein Tag in Gedenken an die Großartigkeit der Natur, die ein so wunderbares Geschöpf wie den Geparden hervorbrachte, ein Wunder, das allmählich zu verschwinden droht.Im Jahr 2010 ernannte Dr. Laurie Marker den 4. Dezember zum Internationalen Gepardentag in Erinnerung an Khayam, ein Gepardenjunges, das sie großzog und nach Namibia brachte - ein Experiment, um zu sehen, ob in Gefangenschaft großgezogene Geparden ausgewildert werden können.
