🇩🇪 Da liegen wir nun und kurieren unseren Kater aus – das waren einfach zu viele Burger, zu viele Chips, zu viele Pancakes und Cocktails. Und nicht zuletzt war‘s ein Football-Spiel, das leider nur schwer mit anzusehen war. Da halfen nicht einmal unsere Verkleidungen und unsere Rufe in den Fernseher hinein – die Chiefs Coaches hörten uns leider nicht.Ausgerechnet zum Super-Bowl eines der wohl schwächsten Spiele der Chiefs, freilich unter Berücksichtigung des abartig guten Passrushes der Bucs, der Patrick Mahomes nicht einen Pass ohne Druck erlaubte. Dazu Nervosität auf allen Positionen – fallengelassene Bälle, kaum Separation, schlechte Punts, zu wenig Läufe, hilflose Calls und leider auch sensationell unnötige Flaggen. Das, was die Chiefs als Punkte in ihren Drives liegenließen, schenkten sie auch noch einmal den Bucs, sodass letztlich nichts zu holen war. Alles mit dem gebührenden Respekt für die sensationelle Bucs-Defense und einen souveränen TB12.Glückwunsch Tom, ansonsten schade um einen Football-Abend, an dem es kein wirkliches Football-Spiel zu sehen gab.Und wir holen den Schlaf nach.🇬🇧 So there we are, curing our hangover - there were just too many burgers, too many chips, too many pancakes and cocktails. And last but not least, it was a football game that was unfortunately difficult to watch. Even our chiefs uniforms and our calls into the television didn't help - unfortunately the Chiefs Coaches didn't hear us.Ironically, at the Super Bowl one of the Chiefs' weakest games, of course taking into account the Bucs' abnormally good pass rush, which did not allow Patrick Mahomes to pass without pressure. After two weeks without a game - no Playoffs, no real Pro Bowl, not even a college game, nothing but some good ole football movies on TV - it's time for the football highlight of the year.At the beginning of the season, who would have thought that we would have a (punctual) Super Bowl? Despite initial problems and partial postponements of games, it ultimately went better than anyone could have expected. And two hundred hours of football in front of the TV in the regular and post season later, after a lot of fumbled balls in the end zone, after a few safties, after successful onside kicks, after some bad sacks and even greater catches and missed field goals and many converted 4th downs we are here:Bucs vs. Chiefs.Can the game top last year's game? Hard to say, but with Mahomes and Brady and Gronk and Kelce and Hill and AB all the ingredients are there to conjure up something spicy out of it. Let's pray for an exciting game, for a spectacular game with lots of touchdowns, just as many sacks, with fumbles and interceptions, but also great passes on both sides.
