Since @lioness.cheryl's lions of the Alba pride and Mama C. herself can't wait to see the package opened, I don't wanna put it off any longer. Time to let the cat out of the bag.Fortunately Swede was with the lions, so there was a whole lotta opening expertise and because someone even had a knife with them, just as if they knew what was going to happen at the harbour, the parcel was opened faster than a swing top beer. Barely opened, a little lion, who actually was a little lioness, and a taller lioness who looked almost like Mara and Moira got out of the box.Say hello to Maleka and her little Tamaa.The pride is getting bigger and bigger. 🙈🇩🇪Weil es die Löwen des Alba-Rudels (@lioness.cheryl) und Mama C. höchselbst nicht erwarten können, das Paket geöffnet zu sehen, will ich es auch gar nicht länger vor mir herschieben.Da Swede bei den Löwen war, gab es immerhin genug Expertise beim Öffnen, und weil irgendwer sogar ein Messer dabei hatte, gerade so, als wusste er im Vorhinein, was am Hafen geschehen würde, war das Paket schneller geöffnet als ein Bier mit Bügelverschluss. Swede war so sweet und holte ein Messer, damit wir sehen konnten, was in dem seltsamen »Paket« war. Mit ca. 200 Meter Paketband umwickelt, war es nämlich schlicht unmöglich, das Ding mit bloßen Pfoten zu öffnen. Hier halfen nicht einmal Krallen.Aber auch mit Messer war es ein heikles Unterfangen. Da niemand sagen konnte, von wem die Sendung war und niemand sah, was darin verborgen war, konnte auch niemand wissen, was man mit dem Messer zerschneiden würde, falls man nicht vorsichtig war. Und Vorsicht war geboten, als plötzlich ein Köpfchen aus dem Klebestreifenwirrwarr schaute. Plötzlich kaum ein weiterer Schopf zum Vorschein und prompt zwei weitere noch.Könnt ihr euch das vorstellen – in diesem zusammengezurrten Ding waren vier Gepardenjunge drinnen, die ihre Reise zu uns ohne Luft und Wasser und Essen durchstehen mussten. Zusammengequetscht zu einem Häufchen Elend. Furchtbar. Wer macht so etwas?Zum Glück waren sie alle wohlauf und bekamen erst einmal Wasser und Kekse und gleich danach ein Bett zum Ausschlafen.🇬🇧Swede was sweet and got a knife so we could see what was in the parcel. Wrapped in 200 meters of tape, it was simply impossible to open the “package” with bare paws. Even claws didn't help here.But with a knife it was a tricky business though. Since no one could tell who sent the shipment and no one could see what was inside, there was no way of knowing what you might cut in half with the knife if you weren't careful. And caution was necessary when suddenly a little head peaked out of the tangle of adhesive tape. Suddenly another tuft appeared and promptly two more.Guess what, inside this lashed thing were four cheetah cubs who had to endure their journey with no air to breath and water and food. Moored into a heap of misery. Awful. Who did this?Luckily they were fine. Was, zum Teufel, ist das? Das werdet ihr euch sicher fragen, so wie wir. Denn gerade suchten wir uns ein schattiges Plätzchen vor dem Haus, da fuhr ein gelbes Auto vor. Das ist nichts Ungewöhnliches. Und nicht minder gewöhnlich ist der Postbote, der zielgerichtet auf uns zukam und fragte, ob wir Familie Juba seien und uns ein... keine Ahnung, was es war, das er uns übergab. Aber es war weder Brief, noch Paket oder Postbeutel. Es war ein- ein Klumpen. Hat man so etwas schon einmal gesehen?🇬🇧What the hell is that? You're probably wondering, as are we. Because we were just looking for a shady spot in front of the house when a yellow car pulled up. That's not unusual. And no less ordinary is the postman who purposefully came up to us and asked if we were family Juba and gave us a... no idea what it was that he handed us. But it wasn't a letter, a parcel, or a postal bag. It was a- a lump.
