Es ist zum Mäusemelken. Ehrlich. Nicht nur, dass ich jetzt den ganzen Tag darüber brüten werde, wie man eigentlich Mäuse melkt, die sich, mit Blick auf die Spezifik in Dingen der allgemeinen Größe, nur bedingt zum Melken eignen, da muss mich auch fragen, wie es möglich, dass Niara und ich nicht mal mehr einen Tag haben können, an denen wir nicht von der aufdringlichen Kamera verfolgt werden, um nur wenig später in einem Instagram Post zu erscheinen. Aber so ist das Leben als Plüschie heutzutage. Und irgendeiner muss den Job machen.🇬🇧Es ist zum Mäusemelken! (A german idiom literally saying: "It's like milking mice!" meaning somthing like "It's a pain in the... the grass") Honestly. Not only will I spend the whole day brooding over how to milk mice, which, given the specifics of their general size, are only suitable for milking to a limited extent, I also have to ask myself how it is possible that Niara and I can't even have a day where we aren't followed by the intrusive camera, only to appear in an Instagram post short time later. But that's life as a plishie these days. Ist das zu glauben – da liege ich mit den Kindern im Gras und spiele Verstecken, und plötzlich falle ich einem sonderbaren Gemurmel anheim, das – nicht weit von mir – eine große Entdeckung verriet. Wie sich zeigte, standen die Kleinen vor einem Pilz und staunten. Denn solche Pilze sahen sie nie zuvor in freier Wildbahn, mehr noch, sie hielten es bis heute für unmöglich, einen solchen Pilz jemals zu finden, ist es doch einer jener Pilze, die nur in Computerspielen vorkommen. Aber so wahr sie dort standen, so wahrhaftig stand da ein Pilz, wie ihn Super Mario nur zu gerne verspeist.Das wollten die Kinder auch: Sie wollten den Pilz verspeisen. Alles, was man tun musste, um einen solchen Pilz zu verzehren war draufzuspringen. Wenn man es richtig tat, ertönte ein Geräusch und der Pilz verschwände. Aber nicht bloß das – der Pilzesser wüchse zur zweifachen Größe heran.Nun, ob das funktionierte?🇬🇧Can you believe it? Because of their 1500 followers, @jjdrawss started a #DTIYS challenge, and I'm in. Of course, the interpretation is quite special and like every time I'm not sure whether I was able to complete the task, but today I had to work under difficult conditions - while my hyooman was pampering the flowers, I sat at the camping table and colored. Yes, outdoors. At 35°C in the shade of a birch and a generally not unpleasant wind, the watered paper dried faster than I could soak it; the color gradients turned out accordingly rough. What worked well in the last drawing couldn't work this time. However, all in all I kinda like it.Why there's a cheetah hanging on the moon is something the viewers have to figure out themselves. Why the moon is so spotty, and literally cheesy, is something the viever has to answer for himself as well. Why the moon has a string of lights is probably unknown. Maybe... yes, maybe the man in the moon is just a little cheetah who likes to have a party up there.Thanks for the fun #DTIYS, although the result unfortunatelly isn't one of my best works. Ich bevorzuge eine weniger stachelige Liegemöglichkeit - mir genügt Moos oder eine Thuja oder ein Kriech-Wacholder oder was auch immer das unter mir ist. I know my contribution came three days late, but I found @tiarainfall’s #DTIYS challenge just one day before the deadline. Too late. Nevertheless, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to try my hand at this wonderful motif, even though the execution is way beyond my current watercolor skills.So I reduced the level of realism a little, at the same time I interpreted the drawing a little differently - I call it »Nightfall«. You can see two opposing cheetahs, and the upper one - the darkness - breaks over the light cheetah, just as the light cheetah will break over the dark cheetah the other day. As it has been since the beginning of time.In retrospect, I would have made the yellow of the sun more reddish, more sunset like, so the white of the tear stripes of the light cheetah could have faded into the bright sun like yellow as the tear stripes of the night cheetah could have faded from the black into the purple of the night. So the symbolic merging of day into night would have been clearer. Erinnert ihr euch noch an Swedes ersten Entwurf eines ferngesteuerten Flamingos? Und wisst ihr noch, wie sie neulich die Bootshülle geschenkt bekam? Nun, es mussten weitere vier Wochen ins Land gehen, bis mein Mensch die Motoren eingebaut bekam, und weitere drei Wochen gingen dahin, ehe das Wetter mitspielte - beim ersten Versuch, das Boot im Briesensee zu launchen fiel richtig ins Regenwasser, so auch beim zweiten Anlauf, beim dritten Mal war der See voller als der Mond. Aber heute ist es so weit. Heute ist der Tag.Hoffentlich! Hoffentlich ist heute der Tag, denn niemand hat das Boot vorher getestet - nur einmal für zwei Sekunden liefen die Motoren im Trocknen. Wird es schwimmen? Wie schnell wird es sein? Wird es nach fünf Sekunden untergehen? Ist genug Schmierstoff in den Lagern? Niemand weiß es. Aber wir finden es jetzt heraus! Schnallt euch an!Hier kommt Swedes „Flamingo Rocket“🇬🇧Do you remember Swede's first design of a remote-controlled flamingo floatie? And do you remember how she was given the boat's hull as a gift recently? Well, it took another four weeks for my hyooman to get the engines installed, and another three weeks went by before the weather cooperated - the first time we tried to launch the boat in the lake, we fell into the rain just like the second time, and the third time the lake was full of swimmers and cubbies. But today's the day!Hopefully! Hopefully today's the day, because no one has tested the boat before - the engines only ran once for two seconds in dry conditions. But will it float?
