But shortly afterwards they realized how great this success actually was. We barely had time to prepare - Mara just didn't stick to the training schedule. In addition, the weather conditions were extremely bad, as was the training facility itself. Splinters in the paws were the order of the day, there were plenty of falls, and we couldn't even practice the start because we didn't have any starting blocks. At this point I have to say a big thank you to my runners, who never allowed themselves to be discouraged by the conditions and the overwhelming competitors, and more than that, even grew because of it. So today I make an announcement: We'll be back. We will be prepared. We'll make it difficult for everyone. That's not a promise, that's a fact!
