In Teil zwei unserer »Castle Week« verschlug es uns letztes Wochenende auf die Wachsenburg – na ja, fast.
Zur Erklärung vorweg: Unser Mensch feierte in seiner alten Heimat ein Gelage von extraordinärem Ausmaß, und nachdem die Festlichkeiten geendigt und der Heimweg anstand, stand plötzlich das Auto mitten im Nirgendwo, denn, so hieß es später, sollte die nahegelegene Burg nach 35 Jahren mal wieder besichtigt werden.
Dass wir dazu einen steilen Berg hinaufmussten, verschwieg der Herr, weil ein steiler Aufstieg nun einmal zu einer Burg gehörte wie Porzellan zu Elefanten und deshalb keine Erwähnung wert wäre. Von den 35°C sagte er aber auch nichts. 😵

In part two of our “Castle Week” we ended up at the Wachsenburg last weekend – well, almost.
But lemme explain: Our human celebrated a feast of extraordinary dimensions in his old homeland, and after the festivities ended and the way home was to go, the car suddenly stood in the middle of nowhere, because, as he said, the nearby castle should be visited after 35 years.
Well, he didn't mention we had to climb a steep mountain to do so, because a steep climb is as much a part of a castle as porcelain is part of an elephant and therefore not worth mentioning. But he didn't say anything about the 35°C either. 😵
