Wer sagte eigentlich, Sanddorn sei gesund? Das pikt wie Sau, und ich fühle mich auch nach einer Stunde Gepieke keinen Deut besser. Ich glaube, ich lass das bleiben und versuche es mit einer Schlammpackung oder Hot Stones. Oder mache ich etwas falsch bei der Anwendung von Sanddorn?

Who said sea buckthorn was healthy? It stings like hell and I don't feel any better after an hour of being pricked. I think I'll give it a miss and try a mud pack or hot stones. Or am I doing something wrong with the use of sea buckthorn? Help's appreciated.

Wie ihr wisst, bin ich neben meiner Aufgabe als Plüschie auch Bausachverständiger, betraut mit der Aufgabe, den Hausbau zu überwachen. Oft genug ist das ein spaßloses Unternehmen. Umso mehr geriet ich in Verzückung, als ich erfuhr, dass mich die Kinder ausnahmsweise begleiten würden, denn, so erfuhr ich wenig später, Niara und Mara würden den Nachmittag mit Wellness und Massagen und Gurken im Antlitz verleben.Alles schien also bereitet für einen lustigen Tag auf der Baustelle, bis die Kleinen den riesigen Sandhaufen entdeckten, den uns die Handwerker überließen. Welch ein Kampf. Welchen Kampf ich meine? Nun, letztes Wochenende ging ich mal wieder daran, die Aquarellfarben auszupacken und ein paar der Skizzen zu kolorieren, die seit Tagen auf ihren Anstrich warteten. Doch dieses Mal sollten sie nicht bloß koloriert werden, nein, sie sollten auch einen starken Hell-Dunkel-Kontrast haben. Eine Zeichenübung eben.Aber was als Übung ausgedacht, wandelte sich schnell zur Frustration, da das Spiel mit Licht und Schatten gar kein Spiel, stattdessen bitterer Ernst war. So wanderte die erste Skizze nach zehn Minuten in den Müll. Der Zweiten blieb das Schicksal erspart, aber wirklich pläsierlich wurde auch dieses Werklein nicht.Sei’s drum – hier ist meine Interpretation von: Sekhmet.🇬🇧What a struggle. Last weekend I got out the watercolors with the intention to colorize some of the sketches that had been waiting for days to be finished. But this time they weren’t just to be colored, no, they should have a strong light-dark contrast as well. Some sort of an art exercise.But the play with light and shadow wasn’t a fun game at all, but rather a deadly serious matter, as the first sketch went in the trash after ten minutes. Hallo, hier ist eure sneaky Swede, und ich berichte live - na ja, fast live - von der Hochzeit, auf die wir ursprünglich nicht eingeladen wurden. Zwar hat sich am Nichteingeladensein nichts geändert, doch während Paps und Mneka und Chee und Tia im Hotel geblieben sind, konnte ich mich, Kraft meiner eher geringen Größe, in die Tasche unseres Menschen schleichen und so ins Innere der Location vordringen. Und also werde ich nun der Hochzeitszeremonie beiwohnen und mich durch das Buffet fressen, sobald es eröffnet ist. Schon wieder ein Hotelbett? Ihr ahnt es längst, wir tingeln schon wieder durch die Lande, und das ist nicht nur schlecht, denn immerhin durfte ich dieses Mal dabei sein - auf einer Hochzeit. Doch ganz leicht war das Unternehmen nicht. Angestachelt vom Schmerz, der noch immer in mir tobt, seit man neulich ohne mich in den Ostseeurlaub fuhr, bestand ich auf eine Mitreise, da ich, sofern meiner Bitte nicht unverzüglich stattgegeben, die komplette Wohnung verwüsten und dieses Vorhaben auch sogleich in die Tat umsetzen wollte. So viel erpresserisches Genie verfehlte seine Wirkung nicht - Tia und Mneka und Swede und Chee und ich durften also mit auf Reisen.🇬🇧Yet another hotel bed!? You've probably guessed it, we're traveling once again all across the country, and that's not all bad, because at least this time I was allowed to accompany - at a wedding. But the undertaking was not an easy one.
