Here they are, the silver medal winners of the 100m sprint finals of the 2020 Olympic Plushie Games - Zhuri, Mayoe, Kavu and Swede. Her thanks go to everyone who supported them and made it possible to win a medal the first time they participated. But they also promise: They will train hard, they will subordinate everything to success in order to climb the last podium in the next olympic games.The trainer, Juba Gepard, said: I am very proud of the little ones. Was für ein Tag. Da haben es sich Mara und Talek ganz schön leicht gemacht. Sie haben mir einfach die Jungen zugeschoben, während sie sich einen schönen Nachmittag machten. Ich einer allein wider drei aufgedrehte Wirbelwinde und Swede noch oben drauf – das nenne ich unfair.Also erst haben sie mir alle auf der Nase herumgetanzt, wortwörtlich, dann wollten sie eine Geschichte hören und dann wollten sie wieder herumtollen und Verstecken spielen und Fangen spielen und im Stroh spielen. Eigentlich wollten sie „Nadel im Heuhaufen“ spielen. Aber weil kleine Kinder keine Nadeln haben dürfen, musste Zhuri die Nadel sein. Und Nadeln gehören ins Heu. Tja, und wer musste die Kleinen dann wieder baden? Genau, der Juba. Dann wollten sie wieder Geschichten hören und Hunger hatten sie dann auch.Jetzt lege ich erst einmal die Pfoten hoch, trinke ein wenig Katzenmilch und lese ein Buch, bei dem ich nach dem ersten Absatz einschlafen werde. Today is a day to celebrate. After six years of hard working my hooman finished his monstrous manuscript - all the years he worked on it, revised it every break at work, in every free minute. Herzlich willkommen zu den mit Spannung erwarteten 100m-Finals der Damen UND Herren. Wer hätte es zu Beginn der Übertragungen geglaubt – zum ersten Mal in der Geschichte Olympias treten Weibchen und Männchen zugleich an, und zum ersten Mal stehen sich zwei weibliche und zwei Männliche Läufer in einem fairen Wettkampf gegenüber. Wahnsinn.Und in wenigen Sekunden ist es soweit – doch zuvor lassen Sie uns noch einmal einen Blick auf das Starterfeld werfen. Hätten sie gedacht, dass alle Finalisten aus demselben Rennstall kommen würden? Kein Wunder, wenn der Trainer ein Gepard ist, sagen die einen. Nichts als harte Arbeit und aufopferungsvolles Training, sagen die stolzen Eltern.Kommen wir nun zu den Läufern – auf der Bahn 1, mit einer Qualifikationszeit von 9,47 Sek. reichte es für Swede zur drittschnellsten Zeit. Damit war sie auf die Hundertstel Sekunde zeitgleich mit dem Läufer auf der Bahn 4 – Makoye. Davor, nämlich mit sagenhaften 9,34 Sek. fand Zhuri den Weg ins Ziel und war somit nur wenig langsamer als der Vorlaufschnellste Kavu, mit einer Zeit von 9,32 Sek.Die Läufer machen sich bereit – Anspannung in ihren Gesichtern, Anspannung in ihren Läufen, Anspannung in ihren Krallen. Wilde Entschlossenheit. Und jeden Moment startet das Rennen.Ready!Steady!Go!Und das Rennen ist gestartet – was für ein Start von Zhuri. Auch Swede hatte einen fantastischen Start. Für Kavu beginnt das Rennen denkbar schlecht. Auf der Außenbahn nähert sich Makoye der Führenden. Aber was ist das? Hat uns Kavu etwa an der Nase herumgeführt? Hat er Kräfte gespart? Unglaublich, wie er von hinten aufholt. O weh, Zhuri, die so gut ins Rennen startete, fällt nun zurück. Hat sie sich auf den ersten Metern etwa verausgabt? O nein! Zhuri ist gestürzt. Sie überschlägt sich mehrfach.Ja, ist das zu glauben? Swede bricht ihren Lauf ab, um nach der gestürzten Läuferin zu sehen. Und nun kommen auch Kavu und Makoye herbei. Unfassbar. Sie alle warten, bis Zhuri wieder auf den Läufe ist, um das Rennen gemeinsam zu beenden.Ich habe in meiner Zeit als Reporter schon einiges gesehen, aber so etwas noch nicht. Das ist Olympia - abseits der Medaillen und dem Ruhm zählt am Ende der Zusammenhalt.

Nanu. Da dachte ich bei mir, ich sehe mal nach Mara und den Kleinen, und was muss ich entdecken? Die Kleinen stolpern zwischen den Läufen der Mara herum. Einfach so. Sie liegen nicht etwa an Mama, nein, sie stolpern herum. Was hat das zu bedeuten? Wachsen Plüschjungtiere etwa schneller? Oder wissen sie zum Zeitpunkt des Lebens bereits alles, was sie zum Leben wissen müssen? Seltsam. Andererseits kann ich mich auch nicht daran erinnern, dass ich jemals klein und hilflos war oder nicht wusste, wie man läuft oder frisst oder schnuppert. Seltsam ist das, fürwahr.Aber darum soll es gar nicht gehen. Es geht allein um die Kleinen. Sind sie nicht allerliebst? Seht doch nur, wie sie tapsen und stupsen und nach Neuem Ausschau halten und schon nach wenigen Momenten die Scheu ablegen. Man möchte sie unentwegt drücken und knuddeln und wuddeln und lecken. Ganz leise, denn heute war es soweit – Mara hat ihre Jungen bekommen.Am Morgen rief Mara ihren Kater zu sich, sagte ihm, dass es nun jeden Augenblick so weit sei. Prompt rannte er im ganzen Haus umher, brüllte alles und jeden aus dem Schlafe und verbreitete eine sonderbare Hektik, nur um zu offenbaren, dass er gänzlich überfordert war. Was war zu tun?Niemand wusste es. Also versammelten wir uns um Mara, hüllten sie in eine Decke und warteten. Es ist nicht viel, das wir tun konnten – nur warten und Beistand sein und tröstend zusprechen. Womöglich war Mara stärker als wir alle zusammen. Ihr gefasstes Gemüt war uns mehr Beruhigung, als wir ihr je sein konnten. Und dann war es soweit – drei junge Löwen purzelten in die Welt.Zwar kann man noch nicht viel von ihnen sehen, aber sie scheinen wohlauf, und auch Mara geht es gut – erschöpft aber glücklich.Von nun an heißt sie wohl Mama und nicht mehr Mara.🇬🇧 Hush hush. Als sich @charliejost50 wunderte, wie viele wir eigentlich sind, da dachte ich, es wäre doch eine ganz gute Idee, mal das ein oder andere Bild von der Katzenbande zu machen. Zwar kann ich noch immer nicht sagen, wie viele wir wirklich sind, aber man kann es uuungefähr erahnen. Natürlich fehlen noch jene, die sich irgendwo verstecken, solche, die im Wohnzimmer oder Auto oder Schlafzimmer oder Flur herumstreunen. Hello, it's me again, your little "Kohlrabi",Today I got up beaaary early. So really, really early, so early, it was almost dark. After getting rid of the first surprise of the day that there was also a 5:00 o'clock in the morning, I went to the kitchen and started baking donuts for the #HoneyGroveTeaPartyTuesday.Juba has insisted on supervising everything to prevent misfortune from happening with the hot oil and dangerous machinery. But I found that "supervising" means to do entirely nothing. To be precise, I had to do everything aaaaall by myself without any help of Juba - I had to roll out the dough with a roller that was bigger than me. Well, somehow everything is bigger than me. But I also had to cut out all the donuts and I had to warm up the oil and watch the thermometer and bake the donuts and dab the oil and heat the chocolate and glaze the donuts and sprinkle the crumbs over it and wrap all the mions of donuts. This was some of a hard work. In the end, I made so many donuts that I couldn't even count them. Juba said there were over 120 pieces. I don't know much about numbers and i even don't know how much 120 is, but it sounds almost as much as a mion.I tried not to reach into the chocolate all the time - so there shouldn't be as many fur hair inside.
